We’re supporting National Apprenticeship Week 2023
This Week (6th February- 12th February) is National Apprenticeship Week 2023.
This is the 16th National Apprenticeship Week and the aim is to celebrate apprenticeships and bring together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
‘The theme this year is “Skills for Life”; reflecting on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with future-ready skills.’
Here at Powertherm, we understand how important apprenticeships are for businesses and apprentices. In fact- apprentices make up 12% of our workforce!
Apprenticeships help people enter the world of work while still learning ‘skills for life’.
Currently, Powertherm have 36 apprentices throughout the business, both male and female, with ages ranging from 17 to 39- showing that people of all ages can benefit from an apprenticeship.
We have:
- 26 Thermal Insulation Apprentices
- 5 Business Administration Apprentices
- 3 Trace Heating Apprentices
- 1 Accounts Apprentice
- 1 HR Apprentice
In addition to these numbers, we also have many employees who have previously studied an apprenticeship and are now fully qualified.
