The charity abseil, in support of The Children’s Hospital Charity, was a great success. Plenty dared to give it a go and conquer their fears in aid of a good cause!
Powertherm teams erected the scaffold structure, LRES took care of the rope access provisions and VISICS added their advanced confined space monitoring system, which live fed the abseil to the control panel unit on the exhibition stand.
The charity does amazing work everyday and, “the money raised through donations buys life-saving equipment, funds vital research and treatment for thousands of children from across the world and helps us create a comfortable, engaging environments for our patients at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.”
